No more cramping and sharp pains..Worried!!

This is my first pregnancy and I'm 5 weeks and 1 day. So you know I'm happy, nervous and scared at the same time. Have anyone experience cramping and sharp pains in the first month then it just stops. I haven't had any bleeding. I'm actually feel normal besides being tired, running to the bathroom and eating up everything. Looking for some positive feedback. Is it normal for your symptoms to disappear?

I am 8 weeks and get sharp, pains with fast movement or after sitting for awhile then standing. My doctor told me it was something called round ligament pain.. Associated with your uterus. After looking it up,it all makes sense now. She assured me it was perfectly normal and no cause for concern :)

I'm 10 weeks with twins and have pains often but like everyone has mentioned, every now and then my symptoms will disappear for a day or two and I get all scared and then every symptom comes back lol and I start complaining about that again. So just enjoy a day or two of rest that Ur baby is giving u a break ;)

The cramps during the first month are from implantation of the fertilized egg onto the uterus. The cramps usually stop after that and may come back a bit around 7-8 weeks when the placenta starts to implant as well. But dont worry, as long as theres no bleeding youre fine!

Totally normal. I was a nervous wreck until my 12 week scan, and convincing myself that all my symptoms had gone. I'm now nearing the finish, next Saturday. I feel I did make my pregnancy harder for myself by worrying, so all I recommend is try any enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible, it'll be over before you know it!! Congratulations too by the way!! :)

The cramping and pains is your uterus. All normal feelings. I am about 7 weeks and have/had the same feelings. It's your body preping for the baby.

Yep, mine started up, stopped for about a week, and then hit me hard at 7 weeks. Enjoy the little but of reprieve while you can lady, you have plenty of discomfort to look forward to in the coming weeks. ;)

My symptoms came and went throughout the first trimester.  I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and still have intermittent symptoms, and the big symptoms (baby movement).  :-)
