So I just got off the phone with my doctor and she said they see a lot of women with a low tsh in the first trimester due to increase nausea and vomiting from morning sickness. She said that she wad going to restest me tomorrow to see if it raises since I advised her my morning sickness has subsided a little but she is not worried.
Good luck, keep us posted xxx
Thank you do much. I was just trying to ease my mind before my appointment. I will call in to talk to an Endo tomorrow. @della I pray you have a healthy pregnancy.
My Tsh levels were 39 back in January and dropped to 7.9 in May with the help from thyroid meds they diagnosed me hypothyroidism. They increased it in May and I fell pregnant in July. I am now 7w3d. I'm only doing bloods again end of month so hopefully levels are in normal range. Doctor says it must be under 2.5 for healthy pregnancies, other gynae says up to 4.5 is also fine. Try schedule an appt with an endocrinologist and let them check your progesterone levels too as well as do a full thyroid lab (all 3 not just 1). Good luck
It is not normal to have low or high tsh. I would ask your dr to prescript thyroid medicine asap and take it until after birth.
