If you're up for it, why not? I see no reason not to.
I dnt hunt but I will still go outside and shoot off our gun from time to time and I'm 37 weeks. It's just something fun to do!
Awesome so glad you got out there but had you got the deer how would u have field dressed it and hauled it at 35wks you should lift push or pull over 25lbs
You don't have to use a stand to hunt. I personally don't like them id rather not then sit and wait for them I like to sneak up on them and get them. The last few nights I've been on a coyote mission...
I'm still early in my pregnancy, only 11 weeks, and my husband and I just got back from elk and antelope hunting. No luck this time around but will try again. It was my first time hunting and I just made sure to be careful and whatnot.
My wife is 38 weeks tomorrow and since being pregnant, she's clumsy as hell. Im a bow hunter my self and if I was you I would not be climbing into a stand!!! Just my two cents.
I hunt for meat only. I do not sport hunt, you cant eat the horns. Its a cheap and organic way to feed your family. And if in the future, the US crashes, I would be able to provide for my family while others go hungry in a food line.
Most hunters I know (me included) hunt for meat and hides. If not for hunters we would be over populated with deer and other animals. .
They do make nice hats from fox. I actually slugged one with a bat the othernight bc it was after my chickens. Lol
I personally think that hunting (whether or not you're pregnant) is horrible! I'm from England, UK & hunting for sport isn't seen as a good thing. Fox hunting is illegal & has been for ages.
If you're still feeling up to it,and take safety precautions there's no reason you shouldn't do what you enjoy. I so crossfit, and often hear people say I shouldn't be lifting heavy weights or running. But it's all about what our bodies are used to, and moderation.
I applaud you for going. My whole family are avid hunters andni think its completely fine as long as you do it safely. Once that baby is here you may miss out on a season so you might as well enjoy it!
I'd like to go. But my husband has been working so much. But I think it's awesome!
Hunting is so fun, im bummed weve been putting in for elk and never get drawn, my family likes to go atv and utv riding, im still early in the pregnancy so we still jump but i will really miss it when the bump gets bigger =)
Heck no thats great. I'm not a bow hunter but I'm a rifle hunter!!! I actually love to drive the the next.county just because they.allow pistols for deer season!!!!!! Im 26 weeks and I dont care what people say. I also still snowmobile but I wont be racing this winter sigh: -/
Go you! Im going bow hunting next weekend and the weekend that marks my 20wks.. Im not showing yet, but ppl think im silly for even wanting to go still being prego.... :)
I wanted to go dove hunting this year, but work has gotten in the way. I have gone fishing and flounder gigging though. There is nothing wrong with it as long as you are careful. Have fun! :)
Good for you for going! I see no reason why you shouldn't, just keep a cell phone with you or hunt with somebody else and not alone. I think family just has a tendency to be overprotective sometimes. I worked my summer job on a 22 acre day camp till i was 37 weeks, and was fine. I just paced myself and stayed hydrated. Good luck!
