12 week scan

So I had my 12 week scan and now I have to to talk to the genetics team at my hospital things didn't look so good has anyone jad this problem and the baby still came out ok

Ive never had that test & this is y! Way to many people get high risk & then baby is born 100% healthy :-) its so scary to be told soothing may b wrong with ur unborn baby & doctors just seem to take it in their stride & leave us poor mummy's to b worried sick( I was told I had to much atomic fluid my last pregnancy) its so hard but try not to Google it will only make u feel worse trust me!!! & write down any questions u have so u r prepared at ur next appt nothing worse than goin blank under pressure! Good luck I hope everything works out x

Ya those tests are wrong all the time...and even if they are accurate everyone I know who has Downs or their child does - loves their life! So chin up things have a way of working out

My friend had that happen too and after all the tests everything came back still high risK. The doctor tried to talk her into aborting the baby but thankfully she didn't and guess what....he's 5 years old now and no down syndrome. Docs can DEFINITELY be wrong. But don't worry Sweety.....you will love that baby regardless. That won't even matter to you :) good luck Sweety. Keep us all updated

They told me the same thing in the beginning of my pregnancy and ive had 3 different tests done and everything came back normal thank god im 34 weeks now only acouple of weeks to go

If you believe in God just keep praying and everything will be ok, wednesday they told me they suspect that i developed preclamsia and they made some labs to verify i am just here laying in bed waiting for the results and trying to stay positive. Remember your little one feels what you feel so it is hard but try to think positive i will keep you and your baby on my prays

I know many people that the scan goes wrong then they go for the other exam it is something where they get amniotic fluid and the outcome come just fine and baby is healthy the scan means you are at high risk but it does not mean there is something wrong with the baby

I wish you the best hun. Every baby is a blessing and no matter what happens I hope they overfill your heart with love and joy. If they do have downs know its not an easy road but you can do it! Best of wishes!!!!
