I had my 22 week level 2 ultrasound and the techician determined that the umbilical cord only has two vessels instead of the normal three, one vessel is a vein and the other an artery, my gyne told to get triple test.. result of triple test was negetive but  still m woried as i have googled and saw there r some complication related to SUA.

My nephew born in July had the same thing. They gave my sister some extra ultrasounds to monitor him while she was pregnant and they did some tests and ultrasounds on him after he was born just to make sure he was all good, and he is. He is a perfectly normal happy and healthy baby boy.

Hi there. My baby has an SUA. I found out at 18wks and I'm now 30wks2dys. It was very overwhelming when I first found out, and with the information I was given and googled I was very scared. My baby is just fine. So far so good. It can be complications related to SUA but there is also a very good chance babies with SUA are born healthy and just fine.

I know it may be hard but just think positive. Your baby will most likely be watched closely by ultrasounds and you'll be reassured each time your baby is doing well. Let the positive out weigh the negative. Good luck and best wishes to you and baby!
