It is because you start producing more saliva, snacking helps since You produce more when you are hungry. I've had the same problem, but now that i'm 12 weeks it is starting to get better.
You poor thing! I had this and it lasted for a good three months! I tried everything. It will eventually stop. Just stay patient with it.
I have been having the "spits" for two months. It started in my 1st trimester and was horrible. After carrying a cup or bag every where, I finally asked my doctor for a solution. She said Benadrayl. Although it worked, it made me VERY sleepy. I'm now on a prescription called Robinul. It's helps a lot!
Eat more fiber. And avoid fatty/greasy things like fried Chicken. :) I am taking an Anatomy and Physiology class and one of my classmates is also pregnant and has the same problem, our instructor is amazing and suggested the same thing to her.
