Walking walking walking :/ im gonna start walking like im training for a marathon around 37 weeks :p i dont want to get induced at the hospital
ive heard the red rasberry tea leaf is for uterine health wont do much to bring on labor thow. Sex is the best one, my dr even recomended it to me lol. Basicly when you orgasm your uterus contracts and it can bring on real contractions.
Sex and physical activity. It helps the cervix dialate. Good luck :)
I tried that with my first (made a huge pitcher of it and drank it all day as iced tea) without luck, but other women on this site swear by a tea made with fresh oregano and basil leaves. You might try to add it to the other tea (can't hurt, but might not taste that good).
If it works, let us know so I can stock up to use in about 2 months from now. ;)
A Co worker of mine also swears by the castor oil thing, but I've heard too many stories about how that could go wrong....so, I wouldn't advise it.
Thanks ladies my midwife tried sweep but could "get in enough" I was so upset. But I will defiantly try the raspberry tea and primrose aand nipple today. Wish me lunch haha :)
Sounds weird but if ur desperate....
Nipple stimulation: basically u tune the dials for at least 15 min. (Use baby oil or nipple cream) It releases the same hormone as if u were induced. I did this last time around when i hit 39 wks and didnt want to do a hospital induction and it worked like a charm. Beware tho...contractions can get intense.
My midwife sd primrose oil both orally and vaginally was a okay! And red raspberry tea leaf. I'm 37 and 5 days gonna get me some tea today as effects aren't immediate.
My kids were both late....10 and 11 days. With my first i tried everything i could and nothing worked.... With my second i didn't do anything as thought there is no point lol.
Lots of ladies say membrane sweep helped them. Did your midwife suggested it?
