2 questions

First question and not to be nosy but I'm 11 and a half weeks pregnant and I have one seven year old. My pregnancy with her was so easy it's barely a memory. But this is my fourth preganacy I had two miscarriages last year and I was wondering does anyone not planning on having the first trimester early test for birth defects? Even though I'm so early I have had two ultrasounds and every thing is good with the baby but because of the miscarriages I don't know if I can take the stress of waiting for results. Second WHEN does the peeing stop?! I have just come from the bathroom for the thousandth time today and boy I am running outta tissue! Can anyone answer?

I did the maternit21 blood test which test for chromosome issues(This test is more accurate than the old test) and we also did a level 2 ultra sound where they physically check baby in sonogram. i also had the rare diseases test that looks for over 200 rare diseases. With the ultra sound they tell you if they see anything right then in there. and my other test took about a week if that to get results. We wanted to know and be prepared for the just incase. Sometimes its good to know what to expect as you can start planning ahead for anything such as treatment if available. For example if the baby has club foot, then you can get prepared by docs to know what u can do. Honestly, you have to ask yourself of this is something u want to know NOW or later and decide between you and your partner/ spouse if that is best for all. Good luck!

I never got the tests done because by the time you get them its to late to do anything about it really anyways and is just added stress, especially with the amount of false positives people get.
30+4 and still peeing all the time. Havent gone through so much toilet paper in my life lol

I didn't have the test for birth defects with either of my pregnancies.  I wanted the babies no matter what. I didn't want the stress and worry that could come from the test.
The letting stops after you deliver unfortunately.  I'm 28+6 and still feel like i spend my life in the bathroom somedays :)
