I had both of my boys trained by 13 months, so whenever you both are comfortable with it.

Depends on the kid my daughter was almost two we just one day took her out of diapers and put her in undies and never looked back. She hated being wet and I was noticing that she was holding her urine .... Not good so we decided it was time she was so easy to potty train. My son in the other hand man he was wearing pull up until last year at 3 I started him in them at about 18 months every kid is different though some are like my daughter and ready right away others are like my son and want nothing to do with it

Not as a whole potty train later than girls. Look for clues that he's interested in learning. My nephew around 2 would take off his diaper when it was dirty and just leave it on the floor LOL. I'd they aren't ready and you push the issue they will be very resistant and that can set you back even farther.

I introduced it to my daughter at about 16 months. She was not interested at all. I kept taking her with me to the bathroom and said "im going potty like a big girl"  two months later she was going on her own without me pressuring her. Now my son is 16 months and I am worried he's gonna be difficult. He's a bit strong willed like his dad lol so im in the same boat

My son started wanting to do as mom n dad did at 20 months but has since revolted I think maybe cuz of new baby almost here there are several signs to look for but every child will do it accordingly to their schedule its definitely not something u can rush

I have a boy. We put him in pull ups and tried since he was probably 1 1/2. He was not interested. When we moved around a year ago which he was 3 he decided he was ready. He did 90% of it on his own. He just decided he was ready. I dont think there is a certian age. I think it is all about reading your child and seeing when they are ready. Boys are later from what I was always told. My son is now 4 and fully potty trained. We never had issues with nights or anything. So really I would say just watch your child and read them best you can. Best advice I have. I had 2 years of stress and frustrations over it bc I didnt see he just wasnt ready. Good luck.

Both mine I started at 18months and they caught on right away we only ever used pull ups at night while sleeping. But they were both interested in trying to use the toilet so I knew they were ready.

As a statistic boys potty train around age 3. Starting too early they say can be detrimental. But if they are having regular bowel movement and stay dry during nap time those are signs they are ready. Hope that helps its what my pediatrician told me
