I'M currently 28 wks and so far I've gained 16lbs doctor says I can go up 35lbs total. Every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. My nutritionist was concerned that I've only gained 16lbs but as long as my baby is healthy I'M OK with it!

Im considered very obese anyways so Im trying so hard not to gain a ton of weight with this pregnancy ( at 20 weeks I'd gained 6 lbs and im at 22 weeks now) anyways I talked to my dr and she said push the protein! She stated that protein bars and special k protein shakes were totally fine! Just dont consume protein meant for body builders and people who work out a lot. Cliff bars, luna bars, special k brand stuff are all fine for us to eat. Ive also been really lucky too my cravings have mainly been for fruits and veggies which helps!

Sometimes you just can't help it. I gained 46 lbs with my first 14 lbs with my 2nd and I'm 26wks tomorrow and I've only gained 5 lbs so far. And I'm hungry all the time too I thought I would have put on more by now.

Lots of walking, or as much as you can. I just got to 20 weeks today and I've gone up at least 25lbs but been eating as healthy as possible so I'm right there with you. Eating small meals several times a day is also helpful.
