need to know why this is happening

So I started spotting towards the end of my 9th week everything has been fine so far with the baby.  It lasted for about a month, so til my 13th week.  Well now im in my 14th week and I saw just barely brownish discharge again. I had an ultrasound on the 1st and baby had a strong heartbeat.  Does anyone know why this is happening or has had this happen.

I had a sch too. But I've also had cysts burst. I'm almost 14 wks and been spotting since 5. Baby's got a good heartbeat too. They say intercourse is one of the most common reasons For spotting. I wouldn't stress it unless.your in pain or bleeding bright red...

I had some bleeding around 6 weeks and it turned out to be a subchorionic hematoma. The brown discharge is likely old blood due to the fact that you just got done bleeding about a week ago. Glad to hear baby still has a strong heartbeat! :)
