27 weeks with twins

I'm having twins and I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant.  My doctor has said we may have to take them earlier than we thought.  We are expecting to take them at 32 weeks and I am so concerned that it's too early. I want my babies to come home with me and I think they won't if they take them that early.  Anyone know about this situation or something similar?

Due to preeclampsia I had my twins at 31 weeks. They did good, it is a hospital stay, but it was that or we probably ask would have died. They were tiny, my cord blood flow was messed up so weighed the equivalent of 27 weekers at 1lb 15oz and 2lb 13oz.
They are now 8 years old and are awesome, no long term issues other than hearing lids got one and adhd for the other, but there is no saying this wouldn't have happened even without being preemies.
Prayers and trust in the hospital staff will get you through it.

My sister had her twins at 36 weeks and they still had to stay in the nicu for awhile.  How come they are taking them at 32 weeks?  That's pretty early...

Twins normally end up coming three weeks early, or at 37 weeks. Why does he think they'll come at 32 weeks?

did he mention for what reason they would have to be taken early? perhaps it wud become a risk to you or the babies if they stayed longer?
