27 weekz and strep B..... will it effect bubs and labor?

I found out today that blood tests done 3 weeks ago came back positive for strep b, they gave me antibiotics but I'm hoping no harm would have already been caused to bubs. Also I read that even after taking these antibiotics doesn't mean I won't test positive again and still might need antibiotics in labor does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you I've been stressing all day and when I read all the problems that bu s could have I got upset. So I'm guessing they will check me again before I go into labor or will I automatically have antibiotics during labor

I have GBS they found it in my urine at like 20 weeks. Im 37 weeks now. My partner and I were freaked about it but then we looked at the stats 1 in 4 women have it if left UNTREATED 1 in 20,000 babies are effected by it and even lower chance of death. So those rates are really good. Ive been treated for it and it came back. So we are doing the antibiotics during labor.
Honestly, its sooo common its more common than a c-section.
You will be fine as will babes.
