So last wk I was 1cm dilated and my midwife could feel his head. I walked all week, ate pineapples, ended up with a swollen and sore vag, contractions up to 10 mins apart, back pain, frequent bathroom usage, and increased discharge.  Only to wake up on Sunday and feel completely fine except minor back pain. Saw my midwife on Tuesday who could no longer feel his head down low enough and only checked me at 1.5-2 cm. It's so upsetting. Idk how we went backwards.

My friend is in the same boat, she is due Friday and her baby has no signs of coming yet.

Babies have a tendency to go up and down before they are actually born. It doesn't mean labor is far away. You can have labor signs up to a few weeks before labor actually begins. I would consider the discharge and bathroom breaks a good sign. It means things are relaxing and preparing for birth. You may also start to see looser stools and become really clumsy due to all your muscles relaxing.

Same here. I have friends and family allll day long every day texting me asking me how im doing and if I have any changes and am I walking and this and that. Seriously!  Enough is enough, he will come when he is ready. I do what I can to help myself, And that's that. You'll know when he comes!

My doc will induce if I tell him lol but I rather let the lil critter come out when he is ready :)

I understand. I've been doing baths abs squats as well and I'm nearly in tears every time someone ask about him or tells me how to induce.

I'm due Tuesday and no signs rather than hearing from OB I'm just about two centimeters and can feel baby head in good position. I walk all day, when my Fiancé gets home I'm anxious for sex to see if it'll help, a few contractions here and there. My Son was a week late and I promise having to wait any longer to get her out I am going to cry. I'm so over being pregnant and sick of everyone rushing me to do things they think will make her come. I do Hot Baths and Squats daily too.

I'm not happy that you ladies are suffering but it is a tad bit settling to know is not just me. Thank you did sharing your stories I needed this support. I was supposed to have my Membranes stripped on Tues but he was too high up to do it. :( I guess we'll all have Aries babies that do things on their own time lol.

I'll be 38wks tmr. Been having false labor for 2 wks. 2 wks ago when it started I was 50% effaced and 1cm dilated, within 3 days I was 100% effaced and 1cm dilated.  1wk later, no changes whatsoever. Been trying everything to get this thing moving along. When I walk it gives me the most debilitating back pain that puts me out for the rest of the day. Pineapple gives me heartburn, and showers  that are supposed to calm things down, make my contractions worse. But of course not bad enough to actually do anything. I'm so do e with this pregnancy! !

Don't feel bad I was due the 22nd and still pregnant! Baby head is low still dilated only 1.5 cm its really nerve wrecking! I will finally get induced tomorrow I'm so over this pregnancy.

Im due Monday and im tottttalllyyyyy done w pregnancy. I have so much anxiety about bringing my new bundle of joy home and adjusting my toddlers life to our new baby. I just want to get a move on it already. Ugh pregnancy

Yes it could. But this is my third child. Both boys were late. My doctors wont induce til 41weeks. Im past hearing oh be patient she will come when she is ready. Being that i get contractions everyday just not dialiating.

I am due on Sat... In two days... And my little girl is showing no signs of wanting to leave the womb either... Let's try to not get disappointed because labour really could all happen in a matter of hours!

It's so upsetting. I'm trying my best to be patient. I know it's not much I can do. But his estimated weight was 8.3 3 wks ago. I'm not sure how much bigger be can get. I only weighed 112 lbs pre- pregnancy.

I am the same. Due Sunday as well. Been having false labor since i was 33 weeks. Still nothing. Feel like she is holding on to something.
