Post for Experienced Mothers- belly bandit & more

Hi everyone, ftm here. I will have my baby in about a month and I want to hear from experienced mommies if they have tried belly bandit or anything like that to try to get your belly back in shape after baby.
what do you recommend when trying to get back in shape.
I'm guessing after my firm pregnant body, my belly will be any full flabby... and the thought of it grosses me out. I mean, I've Al ways Been More on THE chunky side But im Guessing My skin Will Just blaaaaah Fall... idk

Any tips?

I used bellefit and it was amazing. You should check it out. I had a csection and it helped me so much.

You can get muslin cloth from craft stores like Joanne or Michaels. It's basically like what's used to swaddle babies! I know that they usually don't want you to wrap for long because they want you to use those muscles there for getting up & etc but a little support never hurts...  Neither does targeted exercise! I plan to go back to Pure Barre classes whenever I'm able to fit it in my schedule again. I had a firm stomach from those classes, so I hope to regain it once the bump is gone.

Never heard of it but after my first baby I walked daily with her and ate healthy. No crash diet but definitely counted calories and tried to eat fresh foods. I am going to be having my second baby in a few weeks and plan to do the same thing. My biggest flaw are my thighs so I plan to walk squats and the eliptical as soon as I get the okay from the dr. Your stomach will get firm again but my lower belly was never perfectly firm ever again.

Im due December with my second.  I was really considering the belly bandit but im not sure.  I have I guess spanx like under garments because I definitely turned flubby after the first and it doesn't feel good so wearing these types of underwear will help you feel more held together and will probably do the same as a belly wrap I reckon

Girl I'm lazy too lol but just wanted to know what to do slowly but surely.

Thanks for the tips. Already planning to breastfeed and take baby for walks :).

Haha pole dancing sounds interesting however I have weak muscles so I can't do that lol.
I guess hiking it is... and then we'll see.
Thank u and I will stay away from crash diets. ..they never work :/

So... I'm lazy. I gained 70 lbs with my first and was in no hurry to hot the gym. However, the weight came off... Breastfeeding helps your metabolism, take baby for plenty of walks. After your 6 week postpartum check up then go ahead and ramp up your work outs... Try yoga or pilates. And if you're really adventurous, pole dancing classes are so much fun. I'd just stay away from crash diets and such.
Oh, and your belly won't turn to silly putty. It'll pretty much bounce back to normal. But a small pooch is nothing to be surprised about.

I'm a ftm but I heard a long strip of muslin cloth wrapped & bound around your belly works just as well.
