c section help

So my first delivery was vaginal and this time I am scheduled for a c section on Monday.
As the time is getting closer I am freaking out. I'm not the chicken type but for some reason going through the whole process and everything seems very scary to me.
For all the moms who have had cesarean births please need some input I feel so drained and having anxiety attacks every new and then.

Never had vaginal delivery but 2 sections. Only thing I'm worried about is the coming down from mess (I get the itches and shakes badly) and the other thing I get nervous about is the getting out of bed and walking for the first time. Not gonna mince words I thought I was crippled for life and my insides would never be the same. Fast forward 4 days and I was better. Getting out of bed is still tricky for a few days after that but just move slowly. I have heard horror stories about women blowing out "down there" during vag births and you won't have to worry about that! Also I read you bleed less..so that is a plus too! GL!

Thank you so much for the detailed input. I just had a very rough first delivery and was not able to get out of the bed for two days, had to go through a blood transfusion so am kind of scared.
This sounds so easy and relaxed as compared to the vaginal I went last time.
I feel lot better now. :)

Its really not that bad. This will be my 3rd c-section.  Both took a minimum of 45 min. With my 2nd I WATCHED the whole thing with a mirror and I LOVED IT. But im a med student and interested in that stuff. Lol so u should prob not ask to watch. Its definately an interesting experience. But u will have an advantage. You will be able to do it both ways (vaginal and cesarean) and compare. Don't worry. It's more predictable than vaginal

My second was by csection and this one will be too. They have come so far in technology. I honestly believe they do just as many csections now as they do natural. You wont feel anything because you willbe num from the waist down. You wont be able to see anything because you will have a curtain about boob line. When they crab baby you and whoever is with you will hear the baby cry. They usually hold it up over the curtain for a second. They take baby to the left or right of you to do apgar test and to clean them up but you can still see baby. After they sew you up the bring baby back for 15 minutes to have you and husband bond and to breastfeed if you want. Lastly, you go to recovery while baby goes to nursery for about 2 hours. It isn't bad and it goes fast. You will be well medicated so you wont feel anything. I hope this helped.
