cervix pulled forward please read
Has anyone ever had there cervix pulled forward by the Dr/midwife? My cervix is always posterior facing even when I'm am not pregnant. yesterday I went to the Dr I am 41w 1d and she did an exam I was 2cm and a lot more effaced than last time but she said my cervix was still posterior so she was going to pull it forward. It hurt like hell. I bled quite a bit afterward and still am a little and had very bad cramps for all of last night because of it. Baby is still moving good though. I was just wondering has anyone else ever had this done or have this problem and went into labor without being induced?
It was painful and I had 3 other babies a natural csection and then a vbac and they have never done that but I was induced with all of them and they can't induce me this time.
That sounds painful. She is probably trying to keep you from needing a c section.
Never experienced that, but now im scared! Lol. Ftm in the same situation. Faces posterior when not pregnant also... i have never heard of this.
