Anybody Else getting monitored once a week NST

@sweetmila, NST is non stress test monitoring. You go into a room with a recliner in it. The nurse will put two bands around your belly: one to monitor baby's heartbeat and the other to monitor possible contractions. You lay back in the recliner and the machine is beside you while you listen to your baby's heart for a certain amount of time. Some nurses may have you press a button for every time you feel your baby move.

Oh wow, sorry to hear that. I had to go due to me having gestational diabetes and I was on medicine to help control my readings. So, they wanted to watch my son closely because of the pills. Are you still going once a week?

Did they tell you why you had to go I went twice already and just found out it was because cord was around neck isn't that really bad

I just had our son 2 weeks ago and I was going to the OB twice a week for NST monitoring.
