1. Capsule or car seat
2. Bassinet or cot
3. Bottles/formula unless you plan to breast feed (it's not a bad idea to have some handy just in case you can't feed for whatever reason)
4. A nappy bag (personally I just use a back pack as I find I can fit more in it)
5. Nappies
6. Some clothes, you will need a variety to suit warm and cold weather
7. Vomit cloths or bibs (we used cloth nappies to catch vomit/milk dribble during feeds) you'd be surprised how many you go through
8. A couple of dummies (if you plan to use them)
9. Bedding for their bed
10. Pram (if you decide to use one)
There would be lots more but these are the necessities I can think of off the top of my head.
Have fun!

Ohhh.. well then id probably start with the travel system since you need your car seat to leave the hospital, and bottles just depending on if youre breastfeeding or not so you wont buy too many. then  crib and baby clothes. :)

Are you having a babyshower? Im asking bc what im doing is just kinda putting money away and wait till after it bc the last thing i wanna do is buy something and then get it as a gift on my babyshower so other than the travel system which is the most expensive thing on my list im waiting until after :) and youll hopefully know your babys sex by then :)
