I have the same problem(left rib pain) and it seems to get worse the longer I sit. I get some relieve if I stand, but as soon as I sit it hurts again.
Hi just thought I'd let you know I've been to my appt at the physio and even she said its not normal, same as my midwife. Whatever doctor is telling you its normal is plain stupid and obviously hasnt been pregnant or been in pain before. All down my spine is all extremely tight and they think that's what's causing the rib pain so she's taped my back up and massaged the spots that connect those ribs. Hopefully it helps and I've got a follow up appt in 5 days to see if taping has helped otherwise she said there is plenty of other things she can do to help. Don't live with the pain you don't have to!! I've also got pain killers for night time so I can get some sleep!
Well yes I have painnon left side right at my rib, but my Dr said it is normal
Yyeess me too my left side I can't sleep at night in pain all day but I'm only 25 weeks so baby isn't kicking them... So strange I was going to post the same question! I have a physio appt in a couple of hours if they can't do anything I don't know what to do I don't want to use pain killers but this is unbearable! Do you have pain all the time or only sometimes and how far along are you?
