Help...moms of baby girls!!!

Hi mamas, well i have a little problem as i must start shopping next week for my baby girl "i'll be 30 weeks"...the thing is i don't know what should i buy for girl, in quantity or what size is better to buy!!! I have already 2 boys, my youngest was 10.kg by the time he was 3 months using size 6 months (he was only breastfeed)...whe he was born he was wearing size 3 months didn't use the newborn size...they say kids are bigger with every pregnancy, as for me my first was 53 cm and 4. kilograms, second: 56 cm and 4 kg 300 grams. So i have no idea if my girl will be bigger...i have no idea about baby girls. I have stroller, crib, bath stuff etc...creams basic stuff but in clothes i am completely lost!!! Have no idea about how should i clean baby girls T_T...please if you can help me create a list i will be really glad, thank you very much.

Ok, advice on cleaning the "girl parts"  rip wipes in half, with half of the wipe fold it in half like paper and fold it again. Slide it in the "girl part" and u can also use the corner BE EXTREMELY careful not to jab or poke the baby... I ONLY clean like this when poop gets in the little creases... hope that helps

Thanks to all for the advices!!! 1NAMILLION: thanks so much for sharing your experience, here will be rainy, windy and really cold when she is born. I guess the onesies/sleep loungewear is a great idea at least till spring arrives,  about the cleaning advice that actually terrifies me...i get the comments from other females in my family about baby girls sometimes bleed, have discharge due to hormones they get from the mother so i get afraid, they live 10.000 kms away, so no help of someone with a baby girl,  i was wondering if nurses teach you or something. But i am glad for your advice. Thank you soo much.

Congratulations! !! I'd say start with a few newborn pieces but watch the weight recommendations on the different brand of clothes because I went bonkers buying my daughter newborn clothes and didn't realize that for some clothes makers newborn clothong could start at 5lbs-10lbs and another brand may say newborn sizes are 7lbs-11lbs...it just depends so check out each brands weight measurements. Also, the other thing I didn't realize is that my baby girl literally lived in onesies/sleep loungewear more than anything so all of the 20+ full outfits I got her were a waste...I didnt realize that the first few months they should spend time at home until at least a second round of shots. As for cleaning baby, no soaps directly on her "goodies" and when my daughter has really bad poo blowouts that get near her "goodie" After i wash her up, I use a&d ointment and i also put a dab of organic coconut oil on her to avoid any irritation or infection from poo getting to the "goodie box". I also use aquaphor on my daughter's skin 3 times a day since she's too sensitive to baby lotion...it keeps any rash away and her skin soft and beautiful. The stores have so many cute things for little girls so avoid getting suckered into overspending,  i have soooooo many leftover clothes, bedding and shoes that didn't get used and have tags on them but luckily my cousin is pregnant with a little girl (this time a boy for me...80% chance) so she gets to inherit huge tubs of little girl things I over spent on. Best wishes ...congrats and I hope that I could help some.

Agreed. Just buy a couple of each sizes up front. You can always buy more after baby.

I'm a mum of 3 boys but don't know what I'm having with this pregnancy due today! If your baby has the same dad and your pregnancy has been normal then I would set go with experience and get the same size your other baby's started with, as for what clothes it's choice, baby grows vests and whatever outfits you like in the chosen size. If you aren't struggling financially you could get a couple of new born sizes just to be safe but I doubt there would be a massive diff from your other children. Sorry I'm not being more specific just thought it might get you started as you've had no replys yet good luck  Rachael x
