When did you announce you were pregnant?

I found out I was pregnant super early, like 3 weeks, I got a super faint line on a home test, and then waited a week to take another after my missed period. I am now 5 weeks, and am so anxious to tell everyone. My husband and I are thinking we will wait until after my 7 week doc appointment to announce, but I already want to so bad! But of course I want to know that everything is fine and healthy first, plus know the due date. (I could estimate it with online generators) I'm thinking I'll be due around January 2015. When did you tell all your family/friends?

We told our immediate families right away, the day we found out. We waited until today though to tell everyone since we had our 12 weeks ultrasound this morning and found out everything's all good so far.

we told our immediate families after the pregnancy was confirmed by the ob at 8 weeks. waited to tell everyone at the end of the first trimester just to find out the ppl we already told blabbed it to everyone already.

I had to tell my boss right away because we were making plans for my job in the fall, I had been deciding about doing an election job- but that wouldn't out well in the third trimester
Otherwise we told my parents at 6 weeks, when i had my first appointment. We are figuring out about telling my in-laws, they will blab it everywhere, so they might just wait until 12 weeks....

We waited until after the 12 week's scan to tell people. We wanted to make sure the baby was healthy. It's hard to wait but I think it was worth it to wait

I told family at 14 weeks, i had a mc last year and it was so hard to tell family after they were so excited for a baby... i didnt announce to everyone until about 21 weeks

Facebook doesn't need to know, and I don't plan on telling it, lol.  I'm 9 weeks 1 day, and I had my first ultrasound last week where I saw and heard the baby's heartbeat.  My mother already knows, so we are planning on telling my father and my boyfriend's parents this week.  A few friends and my sister know, and I am going to tell my best guy friend at dinner before we go to see the new X-Men movie Thursday, ha ha.  All the people that need to know, know.  Other people can wait until after the first trimester.

I'm 33 weeks and I haven't made it completely public lol. Like Facebook public. I just told the people I want to tell. It helps that I live in a different country. In waiting till after the baby is born. My husband and I are paranoid lol

My husband made me wait a whole month after we found out, I was about 9 weeks when we told the families.

I told my husband that I missed my period and was going to take a test- and then told him it was positive.  I told my mom,, sister, and best friend right after I got the 1st positive test. I told my aunt, dad, stepmom, and other sister after the doctor confirmed it... I waited until I was 12 weeks to tell everybody else.

After I had a positive test at home, me and my husband went to my PCP and had a blood test. After the result came out positive we told our immediate family and close friends about it. I was 4wks pregnant then. We will announce it publicly after my 1st trimester if everything goes well. Good luck! :)

I'm 7weeks pregnant with our second child. We told everyone after my 6 week appointment because our son, who is 3 1/2, started telling everyone he saw. Lol. We told everyone with our first pregnancy at like 8 weeks. I know most people wait until the miscarriage chances drop but I figure it is better to have a large support system if something were to happen. By the way, congrats!
