38 weeks can I have wine?

I'm scheduled for a c-section in 11 days.  I really want a glass of wine! Thoughts?

I was just reading up on some labor inducers & wine was one! I'd say only one glass tho.

A glass of wine won't do anything to ur baby.  I just wouldn't go chugging it real fast.  If u sip it over the course of 45 mins or an hour, then not much of the alcohol will get to ur baby as ur body is processing it in very small amounts.  Plus fetal alcohol syndrome is caused by the alcoholic/ regular drinking pregnant woman, not a once in a while drinker who never gets drunk.

I don't drink but my sister love her to death is a big drinker and she would have a small glass of red wine once a week when she was pregnant and both her girls r perfectly fine :-)

My dr said that there is no way in knowing how much causes fetal alcohol syndrome so he doesn't advise it

Im not sure but im 32 weeks and I want a cup of wine bad.. they say its ok to have a cup of red wine but im so scared ill just wait until my munchkin get here ...
