Same here! I'm 38 weeks & 1 day and nothing. No mucus plug, no pain, just uncomfortable. I keep trying to tell myself it's ok... You still have 2 more weeks but I feel like I should be feeling something letting me know I'm close. Really don't want this baby to be late. It's my first so I have nothing to compare it to.  And my Dr doesn't do internal checks like most (says she doesn't want to introduce bacteria) so I have no idea if I'm dilated at all. Good luck everyone!

I know, it seems like time is standing still in the end but just remind yourself that you made it nine months already and a few more days/week isn't very much longer. I was scared mine were going to be late but I had one born on due date and one 3 days early. Just try to walk as much as you can and try and distract yourself. Babies have a way of coming out when they want to and not when you want them too. Hang in there!

Thats what i thoughy would happen  yesterday..husband was complaing the house was a mess cuz he swept the kitchen floor for once in life and he actually used a dustpan and said the house was dusty. So i was like ill hire u a house keeper......jerk!! Anyways i got in to the mode of mopping and vacuuming.) upstairs cuz he commented on that floor the most so i did carrying the vacuum up and down on my hands and knees. Mop and eveything....and im still knocked up. Had appt. Hoping she was gonna say ur ready but nope. So im still here. I want pain...dammit!

Take out all your aggression and frustration on your kitchen! Thats what I did with my first pregnancy.... I was soo over being pregnant that I took it out on the kitchen... got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floor.... took apart the oven and the stove and bleached it all... then got tired and took a nap... woke up irritated (that I was still pregnant) and ate dinner... then got up off the couch and my water broke.
