3d/4d ultrasound?

Has anyone gotten one done? I'm thinking of making an appointment for one.

I had mine done at about 30 wks. He srayed  .  Pressed against my placenta did not get any good pics . I was kinda disappointed.

well the one we just had was $65.. we got a CD of all the images, a 10-15 min. scan, and we get $10 off the next visit.

the 3d/4d options were considering are either $99, $139, or $159 depending on what you add to the package.. a DVD of the ultrasound with background music, a stuffed animal with a recording of the baby's heartbeat, printed & color images, a CD of the images, and it ranges from 10-30 min., so really it all depends on what we want and/or can afford at that time.. maybe they can recommend another place for you that may be cheaper?

I googled "3d/4d ultrasound near..." my location & just compared prices..

It's kinda pricy where I'm from. $99 for 20 minutes session. Thinking if it's worth it.

you should definitely be able to get a clear picture at 28 weeks..
I paid to have an elective 2D scan done last week at 17w6d to determine gender (she gave me a few 3D pics though & we watched him in 4D for a few seconds), and we'll be going back between 28-30 weeks for more 3D/4D pictures and video. that's usually when they still have plenty of room to move around, and the baby will have enough body fat and developed facial features! (((:

I'm 28 weeks now, so if I got one done the picture will be more clear. I want to see what my baby looks like.

My doc did it during my 20 wk check. They did all the regular ones for the anatomy check and then took two different ones of her face for me in the 4d. They are so cool!

I had one at 19w3d. They are so cool! My nurse told me to come back around 28 to 32w for a really good picture.
