I didn't even feel the needle for my csection, they talked me through what they were doing the whole time. It all went fantastic. Hesling takess a while but it wasn't bad for me. I had a really good experience and will be having another csection this time round.
Relax. Or try to and trust your doctor's and nurses. They have done many of these and know what they are doing. Most of them will explain to you, and help you through it. Don't hesitate to ask questions or tell them you are scared. THEY Will understand. Trust me you won't notice pain as much because that will be last thing on your mind. Each time is different in some ways for everyone but we share our experiences and hope the best for yours. My 3rd c-section will be on December 22nd. And I am not worried at all because I feel confident in my doctors. Of course, when I get there the same old panic and paranoia will kick in and that's normal. Just try to think of the end result which is your beautiful blessing of a baby in your arms. And good luck :) congrats momma
Ive had two...we are having a third on the 15th of December. They are easy....you dont feel much of anything! But I know the feeling of being scared, it is a scary feeling because we are not used to that kind of procedure. But it will go great!
I have had 4 and the first hurt but not as bad as the next 3 you going to do great. .
I'm having my 2nd csection in 6 days :) My first went fantastic and they gave me a local anesthetic before they gave me the spinal so I didn't even feel it. It was amazing to hear my baby's first cry and get that first baby cuddle, I can't wait! It certainly wasn't as bad as every one told me it would be and looking back I now realise that most of the people who told me horror stories had never actually had one themselves. But anyway, wishing you and baby a wonderful experience!
There is no way to predict labor. From what my sister says a c-section isn't to bad. Ive never had a c-section though so i couldn't tell you what it's like. She did say to get one of those things that wraps around your belly for after the surgery. Said it helped a lot. I had an epidural with my first son and the pain wasn't bad. Was just like getting a shot. I am sure everything will be fine. Good luck to you hun. :-)
