I'm creeped out by it too and I want to see my baby as a total surprise when I deliver. I've seen so many 3D and 4D pictures collaged with the picture of them after they're born and it's almost identical. I want the surprise for sure!
I don't think they're creepy. I enjoy seeing my baby. With my last baby the 3d was necessary to measure dilation in his intestines/bowels (he was born with gastroschisis). And with this baby, I'm just happy to see she's growing good and healthy. The farther along you are, the less alien-like your baby will look.
Mine wasn't creepy even though she stayed hidden behind her feet and the cord the whole session. I was almost in tears to get a glimpse of who she's going to look like. She looks like she has my nose and my bf pouty lips...lol...I can't wait to meet her in person in 8wks :-)
Mine came out perfect not scary at all was very cute i was 27 wks
3d/4ds are Creepy! I refused to have it done after the 12 wk u/s the baby looks so deformed and alien like no thanks. I dont want to see my child's face until he/she is born the 2d is good enough.
I had the 3D done at 30 weeks and I must say I was so nervous and I thought it was going to be so creepy, but its a regular ultrasound with a few seconds of 3D once they could zoom on the face. Most of the time Bentley had his feet n hands in his face and he was resting on my placenta, there was. Couple times I was said ew that's so gross. But overall so worth it. So amazing can't wait to meet the little guy
I think it creepy that you can't look at your own baby in 3d\4d??? I had it done 2x this pregnancy both times was an amazing experience! BTW its not just about having the pictures made. its more about watching the baby move around in the 4d form!
I thought it was really neat to see all the detail & actually see our little boy look semi-human!
I find them very exciting!!!
Yes!!! They FREAK me out lol they did it for me as apart of my anatomy scan and i didnt even want to look at it lol
I've got to watch that movie... :)
Im not creeped out but ,I think it can be seen as creepy due to the fact it looks like a wax face in a scary movie for example. the movie" The hunting" the movie about hue crane and the daughter Eleanor also Catherine zeta Jones & Owen wilson Were in it. And the faces of the ghost of the children were very similar to a 3/4D Ultrasound .if you have seen this movie then you know what I mean. particularly the part where Eleanor was in bed and she saw the child's face in the satin sheets. But any part with child ghosts in this movie.
I want to see my lil booger on 4d.
@simplylizzy I had my first ultrasound at 14 weeks it was too early to see a clear face lol
I had one with my first daughter and I got the perfect pic of her looking up and touching her head and now that is her favorite move 3 1/2 yrs later! It's really weird so I'm leaving it out this time!
I got my 3D ultrasound done at about 30 weeks. I loved it!!! :)
On an ultrasound! I had back at 26 weeks He stuck his tongue out everytime she would push on my stomach. I have a picture of him sticking out his tongue. On my 30 week ultrasound he would move to put his butt where ever she would push. I don't think it is scary just funny. My son is a character already in the womb. I can show him pictures and tell him stories when he is older. I never had a 3d ultrasound. I want one but my husband says why waist the money when I get regular ultrasounds every week.
Agreed I requested not to have them after the first one.def creepy
I agree ^^^^ I was creeped out when I saw my daughter on the 3d/4d she liked like a mini alien from a horror movie lol... Im waiting to see what she looks like at 29 weeks cant wait :-)
I'm lost. Why is it creepy? I get freaked out when I see the baby on the ultrasound. I always wonder what if my baby turns his head and has this devilish grin and then starts kicking me hard on purpose. Idk... Can you tell I watch a lot of scary movies? Lol
Yes! Totally creeped out!
