4 weeks and scared

My husband and I decided in January to try to have another baby. We were put on fertility meds because of my pcos. I had a.positive pregnancy test March 8th the line was very faint. On Tuesday I had my hcg rested and it was 36. The nurse said it was probably just really early. I then had my hcg tested on Thursday and it went up to 69. The nurse told me the same thing. It was probably really early. I go back in on Monday for another hcg test. I am not bleeding, I did have some cramping tuesday, wednesday, and Thursday but that has subsided. I am so scared I have already had 3 miscarriages. Please someone give me some encouraging words.

I wish the best for you. I'm PCOS,4 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage last December. I'm so worried, but no sign of trouble so all to do is wait.

Great news my hcg went from 69 to 376. The Dr said he is so happy with the increase I don't have to get my blood work done again. I have an ultrasound scheduled for 4/3. Can't wait to see how things progress. I am not out of the woods yet but feeling optimistic. My 1st miscarriage was at 6wks, 2nd at 7wks, and 3rd at 13 weeks, but they think the baby didn't survive after 7 was my body just hung onto it for awhile. Keeping my fingers crossed we already love this baby.

I know how you feel I've had 3 miscarriages too I'm 7wks 5days right now I found out when I was 4wks 1day and was told I was having another miscarriage cause I was having some cramping spotting and was told my numbers were low and they seen no baby on the ultrasound and I was dilated 1cm I was admitted to the hospital had test ran and 4 days later was told by an actual ob not just er doc that my numbers were rising like they should and everything was fine I was just early on and that he's an er doc not an ob so he didn't know what he was doing I was so relieved and here I am almost 8wks and so far so good as far as I know so I wouldn't really worry at this point if you're not having heavy bleeding and cramping plus I was also told before numbers aren't all that important as long as they're going up good luck and congrats

Thanks for all your comments. I think the thing I am most worried about is my hcg numbers. The nurse has.me freaked out. My numbers were 3 points from doubling not sure if that is OK or if it is a bad thing.

I had blood work done at 20 weeks and my levels are half of what they should be and couldn't be explained. I wouldn't worry yet wait it out and stay calm. I'm now 31 weeks and she is doing great!

I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. I have had 2 previous miscarriages.  Right now I am almost 13 weeks along with a perfectly normal baby. I have cramping every day but it's ok. Doctors said it's normal because we are stretching

I have never had a miscarriage BUT I did have cramping in the beginning of my current pregnancy. I'm talking about strong period-like cramps every day for about two weeks very early on (I want to say from week 4-6 as I also found out very early on).

As long as the doctors are keeping a good eye on you and you are staying healthy and making good choices, there isn't much more you can do. But do try to relax and rejoice in the fact that you are pregnant again! Try not to worry too much about cramping because it is very common in early pregnancy and I specifically remember being scared to death when j experienced it too! 26 weeks and going strong! :)
