40 weeks internal exam
Today I went to the dr n she checked me to see if I was dilated. It was a little painful as my cervix is still posterior. 4 hours later when I used the bathroom I saw brownish pinkish discharge on the toilet paper it didn't look stringy or very thick. The second wipe was clear only. Is this possibly my mucus plug or just the after effect of my internal exam. I'm 40+2 weeks.

It could be either one. Sorry I know you were hoping to hear better news.
It's more likely due to the exam...
