I'm on pain meds to. I'm able to take less in pregnancy due to the bliss of pregnancy hormones relaxing my muscles but I'm still on them. My daughter was effected after she was born despite me taking them with her and I imagine that this one won't be either. My girl was perhaps more laid back then most babies on reflection but she wasn't in any harm. If you plan to breastfeed a lot less of the drugs will be in your milk and I found this was enough for her not to get withdrawals once I stopped breastfeeding. Cutting back and low dosage is what you're already doing and the best way to avoid your little one being too effected. Best wishes x
