Yikes! No i haven't but if its true you wont care when they get here. You will love them regardless
:( I haven't experienced this but my 10 week ultrasound was so funny looking I don't think fingers were even formed, my daughter looked lke a firefly stuck in a jar (moving soooo fast) I'm not sure the difference 2 weeks make but I would tell you not to stress until you know for sure. Its still VERY early!
Its possible they were mistaken this early :)
Well if it is true you can have the extra digit removed after birth. They usually aren't fully formed with bone in them and they just tie it off. Also, it's hereditary so if you don't have that in the family then it really could just be a mistake on a fuzzy picture :)
My dad was born with an extra digit on each hands 50+ years ago. He had them removed at birth. We always called him weird haha xx
I know a mother that had 5children all born with 2 extra fingers and toes.I also cared for a girl with two extra...it's more common than you think and isn't a big deal at all...they often don't grow a bone.. You can choose the remove them at young age.Don't worry!
mii Cuzzin had a extra finger, dnt worry just tie sum string around it. ..it Wilp fall off in about two weeks to a month but the babii gotta get here first
Thanks ladies. My boyfriends aunt has it so i guess that's where it comes from. Im really not too worried about it because I know it can be fixed. Im just happy my baby is healthy so far.
No i havent, n i know its upseting but as long as ur lil one is healthy i wouldnt obsess over it....it really isnt a big deal just remeber it cpuld b a lot worse im sure they can remove it!!!
Yes. My 4 four year son was born with an extra finger. There was no bone so they were able to just numb the area and cut it off. My dad (54) had it too. If there is a bone, the baby will have to have surgically removed.
