6 weeks and spotting

Hello ladies, after researching the potential causes and meanings of light spotting I'm a little concerned. I read that up to 50% of women that experience spotting have a miscarriage. Yikes, is that true?  Spotting at 6 weeks seems abnormal to me. I'm working 2 jobs as a server and bartender while my husband is a full time student.  I'm really fatigued and I know I am working too much. Other than that I'm eating healthy and getting in light exercise frequently. Any thoughts?

Thank you all for the feedback. I'll give the doc a call and try to get in sooner than originally scheduled.

I had spotting at 6 weeks for a few days then again at 8.5 weeks for a few days, it was like a very light period with minimal abdominal cramps. Both times I had a scan and everything looked ok. I'm now 27 weeks and counting :-) Definitely get checked out though! Hope all is ok for u xx

I think the 50% is pretty accurate because I know women who were fine and some who miscarried... I'm sorry I don't have happier advice for you but just know many women do spot and everything is fine... Try to focus on the positive so you don't stress too much...

I would go to or call your doctor. I've heard of ladies spotting and being ok, but both times I started to spot/bleed it was a miscarriage. Call your doctor
