6weeks.

I have two boys 8 & 6 years old, I have known I'm expecting for about two weeks, I haven't told them anything yet. I'm waiting until my Transvaginal to know the baby is okay. When's the best time to tell my boys? I had the iud for 6years and had it removed May 22nd, I bleed for a few days,  I was expecting to get my visit but I figured maybe it kinda merged with that so I didn't give it another thought. June 6,7,8 I had light spotting and nothing after that. I'm so worried I'll have a miscarriage because of how soon I got pregnant. Any other ladies got pregnant soon after having the iud taken out?

Piano girl I was thinking until after the sonogram I'm worried they won't see a beat or something, my sister had a miscarriage two Years ago, I took her to the hospital so I witnessed what she went through so I'm scared.

MRS. Decker I'm sorry for your losses. I think thats a good idea also, I would hate to have to tell them the bad news. But congratulations on your pregnancy!

I wouldn't tell them until after 12 weeks. I had 2 miscarriages and I told everyone both times because the second I thought things were fine because at 8 weeks there was a heartbeat but at 12 week scan found out other wise so now this time we are not telling anyone for a long time

I have two boys the same age as yours! We told them after I had my sonogram that they were going to have a baby brother or sister. I also had an IUD for 5 years. I got it taken out and was pregnant a few months later. Every pregnancy is different and there seems to not be anything definitive on miscarriage after an IUD. In my experience I did miscarry 2 times before this pregnancy (now I'm 26 weeks and the baby is fine). But please don't think that my case is normal I think I was an exception to the rule. My sister had an IUD for years and had a very healthy pregnancy a few months after it coming out. Good luck and congratulations!
