7 wks preg. milk drying up for 11 month old

I think my milk is drying up. When I hand express I barely get a few drops. My 11 month old keeps signing milk to me when he nurses. I am 7 weeks pregnant. Is there anything I can do so it doesn't dry up? I am so crushed and sad now. My son is allergic to formula and soy.

You should look up your local La Leche League group. It is a support / educational group for breastfeeding women. You can get most of their info from their website and will often have contact phone numbers for quick questions. My Mom was a leader for a number of years and I m going to join my local chapter when my little one is born.

Same happened to me with both kids. They just stopped feeding once I was pregnant for a few weeks as there was nothing there, just a few drops. At 11 months I wouldn't stress, just finish off best you can... He really won't need formula past 1 year old. I gave my 10 month old Holle goat formula for 2 months, and my 2nd kid stopped at 13 months so I didn't bother with anything. Normal food and drink was fine for them after that...
