What to do?

Hi everyone. As of today I am 36 weeks and sometime between 4am and 9am this morning my baby girl dropped. I have been feeling pressure in my vaginal area for the last couple of days. I went to the dr. on Monday and I was 1cm and 0% soft. Also a little while ago I started feeling like I’m leaking. Also I have had nothing put pressure with her with a few sharp pains. This is my second child but was induced with the first so I don’t know what it feels like to go into natural labor. Is the beginning of labor and should I go to the hospital?

For me, contractions felt like when you get a side cramp from running, but the pain was across my whole belly...but you can always call your doctor and see what they say. At least it will make you feel better.

Its normal. As baby drops you get a wide range of new, unpleasant pains. If the pains are really low (more like in your vagina than in your uterus), that would be the feeling of your cervix dialating . As baby drops it is also stretching out new areas too, which hurts. The only thing I would be concerned about is the discharge. If it is like egg whites, it's very normal, even in large, nasty quantities. If it is like water, that normally isn't good as it could be your amniotic fluid leaking. You're normal discharge goes way up near the end though, so don't panic.

But yo can call you Doctor and explain whats happening.
