8 days!

Being induced in 8 days! I'm so excited and nervous. Will it hurt? How soon will I feel the contractions? I'm a ftm so I have so many questions! I heard contractions are stronger when you're induced. Can't wait to meet my son!<3

I was nervous with my first also! Bc you hear and read stories yet yours will be your own story and will never be the same as others! All were can do is expect the best but prepare for worse also so it won't be so unexpected and hard for us! And pray to God for the best outcome and for both to come out healthy! Best wishes to you both!

I think she means cytotec It's a pill they insert to help thin the cervix and help dilate the pitocin is for dilating also and makes you get contractions...it comes in an IV and they can make it go up to 10units if your not feeling strong contractions or getting them continuously

Thank you! What is pitocin? She said something about putting a pill by my cervix to help it open.

I had 2b induced with my 1st because I was overdue a week and she stripped my membranes and it didn't work! I was in labor for 16 hours but everything came out fine, I was also induced with my 2nd bc of complications and had her in 6 hours fast labor and no complications either...they prob won't start your pitocin for an hour or 2 in bc they start you with fluid IV first and go from there if your water dont break they will break it also. good luck!!
