8 hr restrictions...
I am a cna in a nursing home. I was "forced" to work beyond my 8 hr shift. After working 16 hrs last night my pulse was in the 140s and I had trouble breathing. It took two hours of laying down to get it back under 100. I called my Dr today, and I am now on 8 hr restrictions. Is anyone else in the same boat?
Wow all you can do is take your boss the note from your Dr and they have to honor it. If they try and fire you they can't over something like that and they would have to prove other reasons but hopefully they don't try anything crazy.
I also work at a group home and think i have kidney stones i don't know how I'm going to work through this pain!
