8 wk ultrasound

I asked earlier what to expect for my 8 wk u/s, this being my first pregnancy. Well I saw the baby and I heard its heartbeat as well!! They did an external and internal. I am so excited I can't wait to be a mommy. I have a dr. Appt. The 26th not sure whats gonna take place during that. Will the doctor do an exam...feel my tummy..? I'm also wondering when all of you mommies started shopping for baby stuff. I have alot of hand me downs coming my way so I was just going to stock up on wipes & diapers.  Any suggestions?  :-)

Thanks!! I want to go shopping but I think I'm going to try to hold off until I get into the second trimester. I am just excited about everything! Lol

I believe next appt they will probably use the Doppler to hear the heart beat and measure your belly. I'm trying to remember how my visits went with my daughter and I'm in the same boat appt wise as you. My next appt is the 25th and last appt was my ultrasound. Lol, I hear you on the shopping.. I haven't even begun to think about shopping yet.. I'll feel more at ease once out of the first trimester. I might even wait until I find out if it's a boy/girl. I'm indecisive at the moment lol. ;) if I were you definitely go shopping when you feel like it, if your excited and want to get a few things now, by all means do so. ;)
