hemorrhoid
Currently 18 weeks and a couple days pregnant & have got my first hemorrhoid. Has anyone else experienced this and if so please advise????
On top of what she advised, beware of hard and cold seats. They too can cause a flare up
Omg yes! You have to take care of it or else it can become thrombosed and swell up and it's super painful. Use Tucks which hazle pads wipe with wipes and take stool softeners to help you with it and most definitely drink LOTS of water stay away from spicy food. Well first it got huge it swelled up and got purple! It was very painful I could not use the restroom sit or even sleep. I got cold sweats and took hot showers and hot baths to relieve a little pain . It finally bursted on its own one night and by the next day the pain diminished and swelling immediately went down. My doctor prescribed me hydrocortisone acetate suppositories which helped A LOT along with tuck pads and warm baths. I just pray yours never get that bad!

Also lots and lots of fiber. Constipation is your new enemy. It definitely *****. What helps me is decaffeinated coffee and I also buy 100% fruit drinks. They're usually in the refrigerated produce section and they help.
I have officially felt my first one & I'm at l&d now, I totally forgot until I seen this, guess I should tell the nurses? Thanks! Good luck!
