every one is saying girl!!!

Hey i listened to babys heart beat today and it was at 158 bpm and every one is telling me its a girls heart beat my son was on ever 140 /145 bpm i dont know what to think and dont wanna get my hopes up as i dont mind what it will be boy or girl as long as its healthy !!!

I thought boy's hr was supposed to be high and girls lower....which would make more sense when you consider how active they are after they come out - the saying is true that boys are made of "...puppy dog tails" my first hasn't sat still in the 5 years since he's been born!

I have 4 sons currently and all 4 of them had bpm in the 160s throughout my pgs. This time bpm was 176 the first apt and last time was 167 but to early for  me to find out what im haven yet.

My babies heartbeat was 160 the first time I for sure thought girl bc of that same theory but nope im having a boy !!

My little was 171 at 13 weeks but 155 at 18 so maybe :)

I heard the same thing, my baby's heartbeat was around 140 always & im having a girl. 33 weeks today... ugh i cant wait !!!

My son was always 140s my daughter was from 160-170s

Not saying I believe this is always the case. But my baby's heart rate at 10 weeks was 180 and at 14 weeks it was about 156. And it's a girl. So I don't know; it worked that way for me.

You have a 50% chance of it being a girl :-) my boy was over 150 at last scan and girl was under for each of her scans so opposite of the wives tale for us :-) x

My baby's heart rate was 154 so people are saying girl as well but I know waaaaay too many people that it's not been true for. I agree it's hard to not get your hopes up though! I won't find out for a few more weeks.. It's killing me!

That's an old wives tale, I told my Dr that too and she laughed at me!  Lol it's fun to guess though!
