Is it true that if your baby is born in September, she will have to start school a year later than every other child and be the oldest in her class?? Can someone please explain this to me..will my child be 6 in kindergarten?

No, she'll be 18. If she was able to start when she was 5 she would be graduating at 17.

School here starts the first week in sept. And ends the first week in June. But thank you for clearing things up for me, I appreciate it.

Oh ok, thank you very much! My due date is sept. 18th and someone told me that but I wasn't sure. And then she wouldn't graduate until 19 right?

Depends on when schools start in your area. Where I am I believe as long as the birthday is before the enrollment shouldn't be a problem. I have heard of parents with children who have birthday's later in the month petitioning the school board for enrollment.

That is true. I have a daughter born on September 1st and that is the cut off here in Georgia so she just barely made it, otherwise born the 2nd or after she would have needed to wait until next year to begin and be 6 while in kindergarten.
