I also found this article. Did the part you eat have mold? Or just the other end of the block? The arcticke says mold usually can't penetrate cheddar so you can actually cut off the moldy end and still eat the other part that's still good. Which means you should be ok.

There is a slight chance however it is rare. Also lots of women tend to get diarrhea toward the end of their pregnancy so it could've been that too. If you are concerned give your Dr a call.
They say its not that dangerous. But diarrhea and other flu like symptoms are signs if listeria. I would call your doctor or go in just to make sure . Hope everything turns out ok mama
