Acid reflux is killing me!

I'm about 17 weeks in and iI must say that this indigestion, acid reflux, and constipation is becoming unbearable! I've tried what I can to relieve these symptoms as best as possible, but man oh man is it annoying. Does anybody have any recommendations on how to alleviate severe acid reflux? I cannot consume a single thing without feeling it for hours. Chamomile helped for a minute and so did milk and the occasional apple, but none of those remedies seem to make a difference anymore. Help!

Try not to eat late at night and you can take nexium but it doesnt work right away. It takes a few days to start working.

I'm 20 weeks with that acid taste in the mouth. I been tortured with this everyday. I've tried everything and the only thing that gives me at least 30 minute relief from that taste in the mouth is wiping my tongue really hard with a towel, because the toothbrushing won't really work.

I had the same response from my dr as obmommy. Reflux was actually my first clue that I was pregnant. It was getting so bad that I was recommended to take Prevacid or Pepcid. Tums didn't nothing for me. I like Prevacid because it works better but it's more costly. I have no reflux symptoms anymore!  Such a relief!

Ask your doctor for a prescription I had it bad and still do. I tried Tums, and Pepcid but neither one of them worked

Honestly I don't think theirs anything u can do/take being pregnant that will actually make it go away, I'm 18 weeks today, I had acid reflux horribly for about a week or so, the only time I felt better is when I was in process of drinking milk! But I haven't had at all last couple days, I know everyone's different but maybe you will soon get a break from it, like myself!
