babymoon?

Is anyone else taking a babymoon with their hubby? I lost my passport and am looking for tropical locations outside of Hawaii that don't require a passport... any ideas are appreciated!

I'll be going to St. John in the USVI with my husband in February... it's our honeymoon actually, has been delayed quite a bit due to finances and vacation time and all that (we got married in June) but it will be lots of fun :-)

You don't need a passport for the US Virgin Islands but don't island hop to the British islands on accident! I remember them looking at my passport in the airport on the way home but look into it :0) Depends on where you live too... It was far from California for us! Hated the flights to get there.
We even stayed in Florida for a couple days. Florida Keys / key west is awesome too!

I read you don't need one for the US Virgin Islands, but might need one to get back in. Seriously!  Another idea I like is visiting a small quaint town somewhere random..just don't know where to look! Google has so many places you don't know what to believe :-/

Keep in mind, if you live in the States. You don't need a passport to get some places, but you will need one to get back in the country.

Portland!!!!I live in Roseburg  :)
We did not take a baby moon and I really am kicking myself in the butt for not. We were suppose to travel to Idaho for a wedding so we thought we'd also go to Montana and then a few stops in Washington... we ended up not going. Why don't you want to go to Hawaii? We loooove Hawaii, actually were thinking about selling our house and moving there right before I fell pregnant.

Tat you need a passport for Jamaica , and be careful some places in Jamaica will rob you ( parts that you don't even think would ) my parents went not too long ago and my dad almost got robbed walking back to their hotel, but my dad pulled out his knife and was like I'd like too see you try.. then they just both walked away I freaked and said I don't wanna visit lol my dad was like during the day it's not like that but late at night it is.

I would avoid Puerto Rico!! There's a Chikungunya outbreak, a tropical virus you get by mosquito bite. One of my closest friends has just arrived from PR very sick, he's been in hospital for 2 days now and counting!

LOL! My hubby is from AK, and i would LOVE to go to Anchorage, but he wants to go somewhere warm. It's been a hot summer in Portland Or, but if I can lay around on a beach somewhere,  I'll go somewhere warm :) another friend suggested Puerto Rico,  I also heard you don't need a passport for Jamaica. .any one know if that's true?

In the opposite extreme of Hawaii, u could always do Alaska to c the northern lights. I've always wanted to do that. Niagara falls is pretty cool. A country town on the east coast if u want more quiet....
