Baby shower

My husband and I are preparing for our second child our daughter will be three by the time this bundle of joy arrives, and my question is; would it be alright to have a second baby shower if it is a boy? Or should I take my mother-in-law's advice and just have some kind of diaper party?

I am also 28 weeks. And I already have a daughter and she is 7 years old. So having another baby shower. And if you know it's a boy. You would be okay having another shower if you end up having a boy. But even a diaper party would be fun.

I have mixed feelings....we have an almost 3 year old girl and are expecting our second Lil girl we kept everything but my family wanted to do a shower however I think it is tacky and asks a lot especially this time of year with Christmas just ending so I declined. However if it has been awhile between babies or you have moved or are expecting the opposite gender I don't think it is as tacky but I would suggest definitely a sprinkle instead of shower.

My son is 3 I'm 32 weeks pregnant with another boy. I'm having a shower. Because in the last 3 years we have moved about 6 times across states due to husband work and I had to downsize on a lot of my gear. And we can't afford to restock on our own. I'm not ashamed on throwing one. I have a friend with 3 kids and she threw one for every kid.

My sister had a "sprinkle" for her second instead of a shower. No registry, kept it really close knit. She was also having a second son though. I know a lot of people who have a second shower if it's going to be a different gender.

I'm having another shower. My first is going to be 8 years old. I have nothing for this baby. I got rid of everything. So, I think its appropriate to have another!

I'm expecting my second and we're not having a shower. I kept most of the gear from when my son was a baby and if it turns out that we have a girl this time, well, she can use her brother's things. Because babies don't care about pink or blue. We have all the cloth diapers we need and if we need to buy some clothes we can do it ourselves. I think it's kinda tacky to do it again, myself. We'll have a "meet the baby" party after our little one arrives but we're not requesting or expecting gifts.

My sister in law had one for her boy and another for her girl. I guess it depends how your family and friends feel. Personally I like the closeness and support for each child but understand people who only believe in one. Sorry that's not much help. Haha

Do a clothing diaper party. People bring clothes of different sizes and diapers.

That is what I have been wondering. I have a boy who is 3 and now I'm 28 weeks with a girl. This is the last baby I will have most likely so I want one since it's a girl..
