All day nausea

Hi ladies,

This is my first pregnancy and I'm 7 weeks pregnant. I've got all day nausea  (no vomiting) and like a dull ache in my stomach from hunger but can't seem to stomach much.

What have you found effective with taming down the nausea? I've been drinking hot water with fresh ginger but not getting much relief.

Thanks!

I suffered from that for 3 weeks. I bought something called seabands. They are for motion sickness, nausea. Since I have used them, the nausea has dramatically decreased. Now I use them at the first sign. You can get them from Walgreens, Wal-Mart, cvs. Not sure of anywhere else. Price at wallgreens is 12.00ish with tax and all. Hope that helps. Ooo I am 10 weeks 4days.goodluck

I'm having the same problem at 8 weeks. Winter green life saver mind are helping, but I can't eat anything :( I've been keeping down vegetable soup, that's it. :( I've lost 5 pounds in the last month.

For me meds weren't he only thing that helped. I tried everything... I finally do feel better now though. When I was sick (I had vomiting) I wished they could out me in a medical.coma and wake me in the second trimester. Lol its not fun. But now that mine is gone I'm constantly worrying something happened to one of the twins!

Having exactly the same problem..I found nibbling at food (whatever I actually can stomach eating) and sipping drinks constantly is the only thing that helps.  I used sea sickness bands in my last pregnancy and I honestly felt they helped..can't tell this time, but wearing them again anyway..Its good to know there are others feeling so sick aswell, it is so hard to function on a day to day basis with such debilitating nausea.

Same boat here. Im 15 weeks and only just feeling relief. I found the nausea would be worse if I get up too early in the morning or dont get enough rest. Also eating constantly helps. Low blood sugar makes the nausea worse. Salt helped be. Drinking soup broth.

Aw it *****! I've suffered all day sickness with this pregnancy, from 4 and a half weeks until literally just this week (I'm 15+4 today). I had tried anything and everything but sadly nothing worked for me. The only things that offered some relief were mints and peppermint gum. I literally chew sugar free peppermint gum all day and drink lots of water. It has now eased thank god, providing I don't go too long without food. I would say though at this stage, when you do fancy something - have it (as long as it's not something best avoided). Hang in there, congrats and hope you feel better soon :)
