I'm 11 weeks on baby #3 and so feel baby moving all the time. My last pregnancy I felt at 13 weeks. It's called quickening and it is possible.

If you are really in tune with your body and can differentiate gas bubbles from other stuff then it's a good possibility that you are feeling the baby! With my son is was about 11.5 weeks or so when I first felt him and yes I'm very interested tuned with my body and with this pregnancy I was about 12 weeks. So I'd say yes it's possible but some people don't believe that you can feel that early but I knew I had felt both that early!

When I felt my first I was 16 weeks and it felt like popping. I started to feel this one at 14 weeks tho. A few more weeks and I'm sure you will feel him/her and ou will know for definite.

It's not about being tuned in to your body, it's simply biology.  There are no nerves in your uterus that can detect movement.  You can only detect movement when your uterus is large enough to be pressed up firmly against your abdomen.  It's the nerves in your abdomen that detect the movement from the baby.  That's why you feel the baby in your front and almost never, ever in your back (even though obviously the baby kicks the back of your uterus as much as the front).  There is no way that your uterus can be pressing against your abdominal wall whilst it's still below your pubic bone.  So no, you can't feel your baby in the first trimester unless your uterus is far larger than usual - like you're carrying your third set of twins

At 11 weeks your uterus is still hidden behind your pubic bone, so no, it's not your baby.
