I am 26 weeks and I have had the exact pain for a month. I asked my Dr when I was there last time and he said it was just stretching. He suggested I get a belly band which I did. It helped a little bit but honestly it didn't help alot. Unfortunately I have found out it is just one of those things you have to deal with, but man can it be painful. I have found that lying on my back helps and sometime using a heating pad helps. Good luck ladies I so feel your pain.
Thank you guys. Its amazing what such a tiny little human can do to you! Lol..
And I'm very petite 4'11 so she doesn't have much room in my torso...lol
Whenever I go to the Dr for an ultrasound I have the tech scan over the right side of my rib area as well and its my baby laying comfortably. Before she turned head down she'd wiggle up underneath my ribs...now her butt is there...its very sensitive in that. area but I'm sure its definitely baby..GOOD LUCK

If you find out, let me know! I go Tuesday, but CRAP it hurts!
I'm 28wks and I have the same pain on the same side. Its been like this for about 2 weeks. It feels like my ribs are bruised but how? I don't know what it is. I go to the doctor Monday so I will find out then.
She isn't kicking there. It is too high. Possibly pressure from everything being cramped?
It could be your baby kicking and pushing at your ribs. I had this a few times.
