after delivery

I'm still in the hospital with my healthy baby girl that I love so much. And I'm so tired. All day she has been crying and hungry. I didn't sleep since yesterday. In getting a lot of cramps and bleeding. And nurses aren't any help. I'm now relizing that I am responsible for my baby and that I actually have a baby. It feels so unreal. I thank god how much he blessed me but now I'm so scared about being a mom. I . Feel alone I feel tired lol and it's only been one day

Let the baby go to the nursery. She will be fine in there try to relax ans get some sleep. Take a warm shower and ask for a snack. You are blessed :) sending prayers your way!!

I think Mom_of_cayden has the best advice yet. Take advantage while you can. Best of luck and congrats.

Send the baby to the nursery and get you some rest. That's what the nurses are there for. Take advantage of this time in the hospital

I agree with dominika that you should ask family or friends to help out with the new bundle of joy. Everyone keeps telling me the best way to get rest is to sleep when the baby is asleep. Something else is to take at least 15 or 20 mins a day for yourself like reading or a nice relaxing bath and that will keep you from being stress or really tired.

Please speak to someone about it!! Have you got family or close friends who can help? These kind of feelings are normal at the start but can lead to pnd.
