Anyone else have too high of an amount of amniotic fluid. Currently 31 weeks

This week I was told after a sono that my amniotic fluid level is high. I'm already a high risk for preterm labor and have been having a consistent ammount of braxton hicks. Both my girls were early. Anyone else here with high amniotic fluid?

Sometimes babies are just awkward :) I had a hour long scan and they didn't once see him take any fluid in. so they sent me a good four hour drive to another hospital on the monday as it was a Friday and they said his tummy was filling up fine. Just to give us that extra worry :) I'm sure everything will be fine and your baby will hang in there a few more weeks. Mine wasn't showing any signs he was coming out until he was induced

That's my worry. Everything has been good up till this point. Hoping this was just a fluke and the fluid goes back down

They thought that my son may have oesophageal atresia which is a swallowing issue but that was not the case luckily as he would have had to have surgery to fix it.

My first daughter came at 36 weeks, my second tried to come at 34 but we were able to stop it till 38. I developed bell palsy with her and had contractions every 2 mins for that month. This time I am having a boy. Just worried because they said it could be a swallowing issue and I am having further Sonos done to see. He's passed for kidneys, heart, and I passed for not having gestational diabetes so we're not sure the cause. After googling it all just freaked me out. Although I am 31 weeks I am measuring at 37 weeks

I had a ton of amniotic fluid around my son and it didn't cause any problems, other than when they broke my water tho it went everywhere. But they said it could mean gestational diabetes so I got tested and it wasn't that. He was small 6lb 3 oz when he was born but I'm only 5ft. I was induced early as the cord blood was starting to slow. Hope this helps
